Process Research Products has developed a unique line of dispersions/suspensions of Hexagonal Boron Nitride (HBN) that utilize HBN’s unique properties of lubrication, non-wetting and ultra-high temperature insulation. HBN slurries are used in investment casting, mold release and infiltrated ceramic applications. Custom slurries can be made to meet your application requirements.

PRP’s Research Department is continually developing coolant formulations for cutting wafers with diamond coated wire. The research effort is enhanced by the recent acquisition of a state of the art multi-wire saw, which enables direct evaluation of how coolant properties influence cut wafer characteristics such as warp, bow and total thickness variation.

Sil-Dice is a product line developed to meet the increasing demands of IC and LED chip manufacturers to meet low BOD and COD without sacrificing quality and performance. Process Research Products has met this challenge with a product having BOD COD below 10 mg/lt. Dilutions as high as 1:3000 make it very economical in use.

Aqualap RC was developed specifically for Sapphire and SiC lapping operations where boron carbide and diamond abrasive is re-circulated during the lapping operation. AQUALAP RC offers the benefits of suspension, increased removal rates and cut rate consistency.
